Our story
Tequila For All
el Jimador story began with Casa Herradura, with a desire to
make premium, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila accessible
to every person. To raise a glass is to celebrate the plant
that gives us something worth sharing.

Universal Standards
Approachable. Unpretentious. Interesting. Every drop of el Jimador
tequila contains the same authentic character and commitment to
quality long held by those who work to bring this spirit to life.

Step 1
Planting
The heart of tequila is the agave plant—these generational succulents are the essence of el Jimador tequila.
Step 2
Harvesting
A precise swing of the coa allows the jimadores to expose the heart of blue Weber agave.
Step 3
EXTRACTION
The piña, or the heart of the agave, offers its juices and natural sugars.
Step 4
FERMENTATION
Open-air tanks allow natural yeasts to ferment and transform the liquid.
Step 5
DISTILLATION
Twice-distilled for crystal-like clarity, el Jimador tequila delivers crisp flavor.
Step 6
AGING
With the exception of Silver, el Jimador tequilas rest in American white oak barrels.
